Business Resources

Many businesses in our community, including Bank of the Sierra customers, have been negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Restaurants, retailers, event venues, and their suppliers have been especially hard hit, but the impact has been felt far and wide. Bank of the Sierra is committed to helping our communities recover from this crisis.

Paycheck Protection Program (PPP)

Authorized through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act), the Small Business Administration's Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) offered low-interest, forgivable business loans to eligible borrowers that applied by August 5, 2020. While we are no longer accepting PPP loan applications, borrowers that already applied for a PPP loan from Bank of the Sierra can check their application status below. Additional details about the PPP and loan forgiveness requirements can also be found below.

If your business received a PPP loan from Bank of the Sierra, a member of our PPP loan team will call you when the portal is ready for your application, and then email you additional details including a link to the portal.

Banking Safely

For the health and safety of our employees, their families, and our customers, several precautions have been implemented at our branch lobbies.

  • Only a limited number of people are allowed inside a lobby at any one time. These occupancy limits vary by branch.
  • Social distancing stickers have been placed on lobby floors to help you maintain a six-foot distance from others inside the lobby.
  • All employees are wearing face masks for your safety. Due to a recent state order, the wearing of masks in public areas is required with limited exceptions. We have masks available if you want to use one.
  • Hand sanitizing stations are available for your use inside each lobby.
  • High-use areas are cleaned frequently.

For an up-to-date view of all branch hours and availability, check out our locations page.
