Many businesses in our community, including Bank of the Sierra customers, have been negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Restaurants, retailers, event venues, and their suppliers have been especially hard hit, but the impact has been felt far and wide. Bank of the Sierra is committed to helping our communities recover from this crisis.
Paycheck Protection Program (PPP)
An additional round of funding for the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) was made available through the Consolidated Appropriations Act recently passed by Congress and signed into law by President Trump.
Bank of the Sierra will be participating in this new round of PPP loans to help small businesses in our communities. Once we receive guidance from the Small Business Administration, the PPP section of this microsite will be updated so you can learn more about the program and apply for a PPP loan.
Authorized through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act), the Small Business Administration's Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) initially offered low-interest, forgivable business loans to eligible borrowers that applied by August 5, 2020. Borrowers that already applied for a PPP loan from Bank of the Sierra can check their application status below. Additional details about the PPP and loan forgiveness requirements can also be found below.
If your business received a PPP loan from Bank of the Sierra, a member of our PPP loan team will call you when the portal is ready for your application, and then email you additional details including a link to the portal.
