Business Resources

Many businesses in our community, including Bank of the Sierra customers, have been negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Restaurants, retailers, event venues, and their suppliers have been especially hard hit, but the impact has been felt far and wide. Bank of the Sierra is committed to helping our communities recover from this crisis.

Paycheck Protection Program (PPP)

Bank of the Sierra is offering current business customers the ability to apply for SBA PPP loans. The PPP loan applicant must be a current Bank of the Sierra customer with a business banking relationship that started on or before March 31, 2020. These low-interest loans are meant to encourage qualified for-profit businesses and nonprofit organizations to retain or rehire their employees by offering expanded eligibility and partial or complete loan forgiveness. Thanks to a recent extension of the PPP, Bank of the Sierra will continue to accept PPP loan applications from eligible businesses until August 7, 2020. (Please note that loans are subject to the availability of government funding.)

For the health and safety of our employees, their families, and our customers, our branch lobbies are temporarily closed. All locations with drive-through and walk-up windows will remain open, with staff prepared to serve your banking needs.
